Throughout this semester I have learned the proper techniques for college essay writing, among those techniques discovered the importance of citations. In the past citations were always an afterthought, something that didn’t come to the forefront of my mind often. However, after taking this class and learning the importance of practicing the systematic application of citation conventions, I know better. I know that is deceptively easy to accidentally plagiarize sources, but with my new knowledge of the proper citations and formatting plagiarism won’t become an issue. I can now give credit where credit is due, making a habit out of proving my claims with incredible citations.
